That's the first time I've ever been to a party with karaoki. Lucky for everyone present, I wasn't drunk enough to try my hand at singing.
Chanter comme une casserole: This is a French term for someone who sings like me - someone who can't sing worth a darn. Translated it means "to sing like a saucepan". In my case, maybe a saucepan that's in desperate need of cleaning.
