Drawing #7

I was desperate for a cowboy hat picture to use in another drawing so Darryl modeled his for me.  I like drawing Darryl so I decided to draw him and his hat first.  He looks like an old gold miner here.  I should have drawn more of the hat because it really was very nice (but not a lot of fun to draw!)

Portrait classes

Taking some portrait classes and we do sketches from models.  I am really enjoying it.

The fellow above was a model in class.  I'm doing a few sketches of people at home now too - its kinda fun to loosen up a bit.  They still take a little bit of time (over an hour) because I'm doing them fairly big.
