Okay - this is the craziest drawing thing that's ever happened to me. I was doing this drawing of a facebook friend and it turned out looking like my brother (who looks like my father). No my brother doesn't have this hairdoo etc... but the face is him. I was visiting with his wife and kids that day, so maybe I was thinking of him when I got back home to my drawing? Anyhow.... its totally crazy. ..... So here's my brother in fancy duds.... and I have no idea why!
Drawing #31
Just a fella - don't know him that well. He's a nice guy. He likes to cook and bring goodies to bingo. I'll have to find out a little more about him. I'm thinking I'll ask him to model for the artists group, but I have no idea if he'd be okay with that.
Drawing #30
A drawing of my neighbor. His name is Denis and he's a cutie. He can
be found out on the porch having a smoke - at any given time of the day
or evening. A very nice guy. He was a lot of fun to draw. I've convinced him to be a model for an upcoming portrait live model session. I'm sure everyone will enjoy drawing him.

Drawing of a friend (Chris).
Let’s say it’s in his younger days since I unintentionally made him look
younger. Oh well – could be worse. About the portrait…
His eyes and hands are important for his art, although I’d
like to suggest that his perceptions are equally important. His art is not a matter of seeing and doing
as much as understanding what is before him.
These things all come together
within his frame of reference: the lotus
flower (way of thinking), the closed mouth (way of speaking / listening), and
the glasses with reflections (way of seeing and remembering).
Drawing #20
Finally back and back into drawing.
